Dear Oracle User !
Grid
computing is the coordinated use of a large number of servers
and storage acting as one computer. Businesses no longer need to
worry about spikes in demand and the cost of maintaining excess
capacity. Grids are built with low-cost modular components, so
you can start small and preserve your investment as your
business grows. This EOUG Focus Day is designed to cover the
practical issues that need to be considering when implementing a
RAC/Grid system.
This Focus Day
starts with an introduction to RAC/Grid and the general concepts
that need to be understood. This is followed by presentations
from users of RAC/Grid and demonstrations and discussions from
Oracle and other implementers of RAC/Grid technology. The
overall aim is to give a balanced view of RAC/Grid technology
and an insight into the new features in Oracle10g RAC/Grid.
