The Cyprus ORACLE User Group (CYOUG) is a non-profit making organization established in August of 1994, as a limited company, in order to serve the ORACLE community in Cyprus. Most of the ORACLE users in Cyprus are members of the group, making it a strong organization that can meet most of its objectives. (ORACLE is the foremost Relational Database Management System available, used in most countries of the world).
The group's charter is as follows:
- Provide organized and structured platform for members to exchange information between themselves, and Oracle.
- Suggest modifications and improvements to Oracle and its products.
- Update and be updated on new products and features.
- Organize seminars, meetings, and presentations in order to update members on Oracle features.
- Operate as a member of, and represent the European Oracle User Group in Cyprus.
