General Meeting 2002 On behalf of the Cyprus Oracle User
Group (CYOUG) we are pleased to invite you to the 2002 Annual General Meeting, which will
take place on Thursday 27th June, 2002 between 3:00 and 5:00p.m. at MEMRB
(KEMA) Auditorium.
Attached, for your information, are the accounts for the years that
have not yet been approved, and during the AGM, if there are any discrepancies, these can
be raised, otherwise there will be a vote to approve them.

If you would like be considered as a candidate to become a CyOUG board
member, please use the enclosed form to notify us. No new resolutions are being put
forward by the Board, however, if there are any such issues that you, as members of CyOUG,
wish to raise, then the enclosed form can also be used for this purpose. Any proposals
will be floored, and put to the vote.
Enclosed, for use by voting members, is a Proxy Voting Form. If, for
any reason you cannot attend the AGM, please ensure the proxy form is completed by you and
nominate another member to vote for you. That member must have the proxy form with them
during voting at the AGM.
As you may have noticed, we are also including an Oracle Technical
Seminar in the proceedings. This presentation was to be scheduled as a separate event, but
it is now included with the AGM.
In the presentation you will have the opportunity to be introduced to
the ‘e’ features that are necessary to provide faster, cheaper
operations, and a better service to your customers. Also, the business need of bringing
suppliers, providers and customers together in a collaborative approach will be explored,
as well as the services that may be offered.
Finally, the application requirements, development tools and
methodologies required and used to achieve eMarketPlace commerce, will be discussed, with
reference to Oracle products.
This event will be FREE for all our members. Please
register for this event early, and not later than the 18th June 2002 by
replying back using the attached registration form. And, as a final note, we are happy to
inform all our current members that your membership has been automatically renewed
for the year 2002.
